Mark Crossley biography
At 39 years old Mark has been at the centre of the professional game for 20 years – and he’s still on the pitch as player/coach at Oldham Athletic. Nearly 400 appearances at Nottingham Forest made him a favourite in the city and he’s still treated as a favourite son every time he returns. He’s got eight caps for Wales and has also played for Middlesbrough, Millwall, Fulham, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City. He’s won several places in the history of the game. He’s one of only two men to have saved penalties in an FA Cup Final – and he’s also the man who scored the Premier league’s first own goal in 1992. He currently gets rave reviews at sold-out ‘Audience With’ events to recount his stories of Brian Clough and all the other managers he has worked with in his career. He is signed to www.mwm-uk.com for celebrity and other work.
