Samantha Brick biography
Samantha Brick spent 15 years working in factual and reality television in both London and Los Angeles. In the US, where she lived for some time, she executive produced programming for, amongst ohers, Fox and MTV. In the UK she devised formats and produced programming for all of the terrestrial channels, as well as spending two years as Head of Entertainment and Factual Programming at Sky One - where she talent spotted and subsequently launched the careers of Tess Daley, Russell Brand and Kate Thornton.
Now, married to a Frenchman and living in South-West France, she still consults for TV production companies globally. She also writes regularly for the Daily Mail, The Guardian, Grazia and Broadcast - the TV industry trade weekly.'
How I Found the Agency
I found Andrew's website after entering a Google search for literary agencies and his came up instantly. The site was incredibly easy to navigate and not intimidating either! I went through his client list and saw that they mirrored the type of memoir I am writing and decided to see what he thought of my proposal. Within an hour of sending my outline email, Andrew had responded. 72 hours later Andrew offered me representation. I was, and remain, hugely impressed by his enthusiasm and professionalism.
