Simon Vigar biography

In front of the camera and behind the microphone, Simon Vigar is one of the UK's most prolific journalists. He has won awards at some of the country's biggest radio stations and as Royal correspondent for Channel 5 has covered the Diana inquest, Prince Harry's charity work in southern Africa and Prince William's official visits to New Zealand and Australia. He also reported on the 2010 World Cup in South Africa and several major trials at the Old Bailey.

Simon was born in Winchester in 1969 and, while a politics undergraduate at Exeter University, worked in local radio. He somehow graduated and since then has worked for ITN, Sky News, BBC World and Channel 5. Simon's 2008 motor racing book "Forza Minardi!" received much critical acclaim and he is also ridiculously proud of his cameo appearance on the hit BBC comedy "The League of Gentlemen", where he played himself.

Simon's distinctive voice has also ensured work on documentaries for Discovery, Formula One and the Sky Sports classified football results.

How I Found the Agency

I've met some sharks in the broadcasting game but nothing prepared me for the world of publishing. However, Andrew's website seemed a bullshit-free zone and I'm very happy to report it reflects the man. He says what he means, means what he says and he gets things done.
