Sinitta Malone biography

Chart-topping singer, actress and dancer Sinitta was born in 1968 and became one of the world’s biggest dance divas. Her hit So Macho was Britain’s best-selling single in 1986. She then topped the charts in Europe, Japan and around the world with 14 international hit singles including Cruising, Toy Boy and Right Back Where We Started From. She was a West End theatre star as a teenager, appearing in Cats, The Wiz and Little Shop of Horrors before winning critical acclaim in Mutiny alongside David Essex.

In recent years she has been back in the public eye as Simon Cowell’s right-hand woman on The X-Factor, as a judge on Grease is the Word and on other shows from Cirque de Celebrite and Dancing on Ice to Loose Women. Her twenty-five year on/off relationship with Simon Cowell has always fascinated the press, as have her more recent heartaches as she fought a very public battle to conceive and ultimately adopt children.

Now a single mother, she is taking on a new career in the business world, running Angel Champagne and handling Simon Cowell’s marketing opportunities as The X-Factor prepares to launch in America. With a lifetime of experience of promoting her music and television projects Sinitta is ideally placed to win publicity for her autobiography.
