Tony Giles biography
Tony Giles was born in Virginia Water, Surrey, on a gypsy campsite. At the age of eight he saw his uncle murdered in front of him, and by his teens he was making his living as a bare-knuckle fighter and manual labourer, before taking up professional cage fighting in his mid-twenties.
After losing his first fight, he has never again been defeated, and has won the British K1 and WSO K1 titles. He is now signed up to UCMMA, Europe’s biggest cage-fighting championship, which will be shown on Sky Sports.
In 2012 he appeared alongside his fiancée Danielle Mason in one of the most talked-about episodes of Channel 4's Big Fat Gypsy Weddings. The episode concentrated on his struggle to attend the birth of his son, Rudy. Since then he has appeared on a host of other programmes, including This Morning and Daybreak.
