For over 15 years, Alicia Eaton has had a highly successful career helping people to develop their potential and overcome problems in their lives.
One of the few Advanced NLP Therapeutic Specialists worldwide, she has been personally trained by Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna and is a recognised expert on the use of NLP and hypnosis with adults and children.
Since 2003 she has run two successful practices in both London’s Harley Street and Hertfordshire, helping clients with a variety of issues in particular weight problems, performance anxiety and phobias.
Originally a Montessori teacher, she was Principal of her own School for five years. She furthered her training at the Anna Freud Centre working alongside child psychotherapists as part of an MSc in Developmental Psychology.
It was whilst training as a Psychotherapist specialising in hypnosis, that her fascination for this subject grew and she could see the potential of using hypnotic techniques with children.
Over the last few years, Paul McKenna has recognised her skill and talents and regularly refers both adults and children to her. She has assisted him with his Easy Weight Loss seminars, working with literally hundreds of overweight people. This sparked off a desire to help children avoid falling into the same trap.
Her book ‘How Your Child can Avoid Obesity ‘ looks at the habits and behaviours of eating and is the first in a series that will demonstrate how effectively the techniques of hypnosis and NLP can be applied to children.
