Stratton is sent into Central America by his British SIS boss to carry out what begins as a simple task for an ally in the CIA. But all is not what it seems and he is soon embroiled in a national rebellion. Stratton’s impartiality is compromised when he falls for the daughter of a revolutionary leader and after a series of deadly betrayals he becomes involved in a desperate struggle on the side of the guerrillas. The fight pits him not only against government forces but his CIA handler and climaxes in a battle that will decide the fate of the revolution as well as those involved.
