The Protector

Three men: a young Iraqi, a former British soldier, an American journalist, converge in Baghdad a year after the fall of Saddam Hussein and after experiencing very different and personal life changing events. The three end up together on the road to Fallujah one dark and dangerous night while at the same time the might of the US military encircles the town as they prepare to rip it apart. But neither man can turn back or delay further. Each believes the others are taking part in a single purpous to secure the release of an American hostage sentenced to death by ruthless insurgents. But in truth all have very different and secret reasons for going into the besieged town. Greed, ambition and guilt distinguish the forces driving each man towards his desire despite knowing he might never return.
