John Jobling was born in 1980 and educated at St. Leonard’s Comprehensive School. After studying English language and literature at Durham New College, he began to earn his living as a freelance writer and has contributed to many magazines and websites in the entertainment industry, including Dotmusic, Total Film,
Play Valley and Playstation Sports (senior contributor). He is currently the music editor of mansized.co.uk, which is one of the largest online men’s magazines in the UK.
A self-professed film junkie, John also plans to write a biography of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie (Girl, Interrupted, The Good Shepherd), followed by a biography of British actor Christian Bale (American Psycho, Batman Begins).
He lives in County Durham.
