Prince Charles: : The Oral Biography,

In Prince Charles: The Oral Biography, co-authors Deborah Hart Strober and Gerald Strober,  will through substantive on-the-record interviews with a wide cross section of Charles's associates and contemporaries, chronicle his life from school days through his tumultous marriage to Diana, Princess of Wales, his long-standing affair and eventual union with Camilla Parker Bowles, and his decades of preparation as heir to Elizabeth II, his loving mother and mentor.

At the age seventy-three, Charles is a seasoned practitioner of royalcraft, He has spent his adult years living with the paradox of personally dreading the passing of the Queen while yearning for the moment when he will accede to the Throne, as well as assume the major international leadership role of heading the Commonwealth of Nations.

As the Monarch, while Charles will likely carve out new paths, he will likely retain his controversial positions on agriculture, alternative medicine and architecture. Although he will inherit an institution characterized by the Queen's devotion to duty, he will bear the burden of succeeding Britain's longest reigning soveriegn, one admired for bridging the gap between tradition and modernity.

Prince Charles: The Oral Biography, will appeal to afficianados of the British crown as well as to a wider  readership interested in learning about the life of one, who longer than any other in his nation's history, has awaited the royal destiny to which he was born.
