Jackson, aged 10, is aggressive, confrontational and often runs away from home. His mother can no longer cope with his behaviour after losing her husband and older son in tragic circumstances. She has no choice but to put him into foster care.

She is a specialist foster carer, also referred to as a level three carer, which means she often looks after children with complex needs or those with very challenging behaviour.
