Congratulations to Sean McMeekin who has won the 2011 Norman B. Tomlinson Book Prize for his book, The Russian Origins of the First World War awarded annually to the book judged to be the year’s best in English on the First World War. The Tomlinson Prize was originally awarded by the US Branch of the Western Front Association and now is an award of the World War One Historical Association (WW1HA).
