Alicia Eaton biography

For over 15 years, Alicia Eaton has built a highly successful career helping people to realise their full potential and overcome problems in their lives. Alicia is a fully qualified Psychotherapist and Hypnotherapist, as well as a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). She has also been trained and licensed by the Society of NLP as an Advanced NLP Therapeutic Specialist, which places her as a leading practitioner in this field worldwide.

Alicia has been mentored by some of the leading figures in the industry, most notably Paul McKenna and Richard Bandler (the co-creator of NLP). She is in demand as an assistant at their events and trainings, in particular Paul McKenna’s ‘Easy Weight Loss’ seminar. Both Paul and Richard have referred clients (adults and children) to her successful Harley Street practice which she has run since 2003.

As well as working with clients on their weight, smoking and phobia problems, she is experienced at dealing with a wide cross-section of the public, from a 73 year old lady with a fear of large plants, actors with stage fright, business men seeking promotion, right down to 4 year olds with toilet problems.

Her advanced NLP training includes studying ‘Advanced Language Patterns’ and ‘Design Human Engineering’ and she is also an Accredited NLP Practitioner specialising in dyslexia, memory and concentration problems.

A fully trained and experienced Thought Field Therapy Practitioner, she incorporates the ‘tapping technique’ into her work. With Michael Neill, the author of the best-selling You Can Have What You Want, she has fine-tuned her coaching skills on his Coaching Mastery programmes and continues to be personally coached by him. She has also undergone specialist training at the National Centre for Eating Disorders.

Recognising the potential of using NLP techniques for ordinary everyday problems, Alicia is the author of the bestselling book Stop Bedwetting in 7 days, which has been well received by parents around the world. Using her experience and expertise she has created and designed her own NLP techniques and developed a unique system which can be adopted by GPs and clinics in hospital settings.

She has also written Mind How Your Kids Eat , having again created her own system with specially designed NLP techniques for conquering childhood obesity, fussy eating and food phobias.

Her years of working face-to-face with clients have equipped her with the skills to explain NLP in simple terms and Michael Neill says of her, “Alicia has a real gift for communicating complex ideas in a way that makes them easy to incorporate into your daily routine.”

She is Natural Health Magazine’s regular ‘problem page’ expert and has been featured in Good Housekeeping, Sunday Mirror and Sunday Express. She has also taken part in many BBC radio discussion shows including Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour and BBC London, Radio Solent and TalkSport Radio.

How I Found the Agency

Serendipity played it's part in my search for an Agent as a chance conversation with a film director resulted in him pointing me in the direction of Andrew, with the words "he will never cheat you". This sounded like the best possible reference!

It's taken a long time to fashion and mould a proposal that appeals to publishers as books about Neuro-linguistic Programming are not an easy sell in the commercial world. During this time however, Andrew has remained constantly supportive and has never give up trying to secure a deal on my behalf. Many people would have grown bored and given up a long time ago, so I'm immensely grateful for his tenacity and faith in the project.
